    "Pelican Cases"...or these?

Everybody knows the Pelicans, but here is a good alternative at a *much* lower price.
I've checked these out closely and can't find any obvious differences, save the name.

Harbor Freight has these on sale quite often....the "small one is on sale now (with coupon) for less than $10!

I have that very case, for that very reason. It's a surprisingly well made case for a ridiculously low price.

I don't think I'd trust it as much as a Pelican for things like submerging it with my DSLR inside, but I'd have no problems sticking my phone in there and riding in a downpour.

I bought cases from MCM Electronics, now Newark Electronics, very similar to Pelican also and way less. I don't see much difference between them

I own a Pelican case but only because it was free. They are way over priced in my opinion.
