Is the high compression 74mm piston still available?

I am going to sleeve one of my cylinders to go up to 74mm and would like to buy a high compression piston for it. I am currently running a 71mm with 10.25:1. I don't expect much of a power gain going to the 74mm if I have to go down to 9.5:1 ratio.

I found that someone named Frank offered a custom 11.5:1 piston with the 16mm pin. Does anyone know who that is, or if they are still available?

Try Venolia Piston Job # 137941 This is for a 70mm piston. Tell them you want this piston 74mm and they will make it for you. I am 98% sure you will have to modify the dome to get the compression down to where you want it so be prepared to do some cc'ing -- can be very tedious. Also, tain't cheap. The piston will cost more than a set of cast pistons for a small block Chevy.

CC'ing (using anti freeze) to calculate the dome volume on a Wiesco piston:

I might have to have them make me one looking for an aftermarket 2008 to 2012 xt250 piston with a 74mm bore and 16mm wristpin hole has not yeilded much, what about just a different connecting rod? Or boring out the wristpin hole to 17mm? I saw on another thread where a member suggested making 1mm bushings for the wristpin as well

I can get 74mm pistons with the correct 16mm pin diameter. Just trying to decide on compression ratio. I think I have what I need and may end up with a couple extra pistons to sell. The minimum purchase quantity is 4.
