I made a pattern from a Busch light box and used a dremel to cut the plastic and a heat gun to form it. I got the ideal from utube. Some guy made a windshield for his motorcycle

Looks great. Good job. However, I didn't mind buying the café shield. I got a great product and got to meet a hell of a guy in Jimbo. Again, good job though.

I made it a tight fit and used double face tap to hold it in place.

    Hey, DWayne...cool beans!

Here's a quick, easy, cheap upgrade you might consider.
I've used this auto door edge-guard on several projects...even my T-Dub.

It's very flexible & light with a little strip of non-permanent glue in the channel. Easy on/easy off. Comes in all colors & clear.

It might provide a little stiffness, "finish" and prevent slicing off your schnazola in case of a face- plant into your screen!

    Anyway, clever project!

    And welcome to the Forum...

The door guard is a great idea. I was trying to think what I could use to protect the edge. Thanks again.
