    Sprockets. Trials and Tribulations.

Disclosure for context. I do not ride the TW on the road almost at all. Limited speed needed and only a few miles at a time.

I have gone between 45 and 50 teeth on the rear sprocket but was still curious. Today I put on a 55 and new chain. We'll see how this goes and I'll update any results. Hey, now I have 3 sprockets and two chains to play with.

    Anyone else running a 55?

    I had to go check.

I am currently running on my 55 tooth rear sprocket (the others are 47 and 66).

Amazing setup. How do you like the 55? Your all-arounder I take it? One ride tonight on the 55 and so far so good for me.

13x55 makes me happy when the going gets steep or technical. Also nice for poking along at goofy slow speeds just admiring the view or having the time to pick the best line available.

Ok I'm new on here. Not new to motorcycles. What kind of set-up on that rear sprocket? It reminds me of a Harley Davidson dirt bike I had. A Baja 100 with a sprocket inside a sprocket.

    Got more pictures?

Oh I see. It was an optical illusion. In the picture it looked like one of your sprockets was on the inside of the other larger one. I see you spaced them out.
This is what I was thinking.
