    Adjustable shorty levers

Wanted some shorter levers, found some short adjustable ones from FXCNC on Amazon, I’m trying them out for now, but so far I really like them, there are other super cheap ones, but some of them have issues with the spring-back of the levers, I took mine apart completely to ensure the hinge bolt moves freely inside and doesn’t bind.

So far my only gripe is just the little bit of vertical slop in the handles, but it’s only a tiny bit more than the stock ones... so I’m just being kind of petty.

Other than that, they are a perfect fit, look great and feel good during use on the road.

If you decide to try them, make sure you follow the instructions on the site and send the seller a message with the year and model bike.

FYI - these look real similar but are tight and have very little play (unless you are more anal than me lol ). Ive had them on over a year and like them. Adjustment works well as well.

    +1 on value & function.
I had a pivot bolt vibrate out on a trail ride after a year or so but then again I didn't confirm tightness nor add loctite when new, just installed them and went for it.
So I have no one to blame, could have double checked things considering the low price.
So I like mine too, have similar models on both bikes.
Lowes hardware and others have very thin nylon metric "washers" in a variety of thicknesses, inner and outer diameters that I find good for taking out slop in the pivots of levers & their perches. They stop any rattle and if not overtightened can make lever movement have less friction or stiction. washer2.jpeg

Fred, you beat me to posting the thin nylon washers...they work really well!
I'm very finicky about "touch & feel" of all my controls, especially hand controls.

Darth, they say the greatest judge of someone's superior intellect is if they agree with you.

    Hi Fred,

By any chance would you have a link for those washers? I've tried Lowe's and Home Depot's Canadian sites, and it only comes up with ones that are way too thick.

Donzo... you gave me mild buyers remorse... yours look way cooler.

Edit: Until I read the eBay article and realized they are FXCNC levers... same ones as me... lol.
