Im just seeing if anyone has made them for there tw. If so do any of you have pics? It seems to be very simple so im gonna make them this weekend. An old friend of mine who used to race hare scrambles uses them on all his bikes. The idea is to keep weeds and junk from building up between your foot pegs and frame plus if you hit a stump or rock with say your shifter it will keep it from bending very far.

I have msr ones on all my bikes but I only put them on the brakes. I think they were around $7 a piece. They should be pretty easy to make but these were an impulse buy that I never regretted.

I went to a bicycle store and picked up some used brake cables for free that were heading for the trash. Then went to lowes to get some cable "couplers" crimps and some there tubing. I drilled a hole in the front of the brake pedal for the cable to enter.
