I love my Cyclerack, but found it to be a little small for what I wanted to do so today I built a new one that is longer and flat with flat bars welded in with holes every inch to mount to, I think these would also make adding planners easier. My plan is to make a plate that will bolt to the rack and hold an extra fuel tank that can easily be removed, I ordered a fuel line quick connect to help with this. I also mounted my tool tubes and tail light/license plate to it. Tomorrow I am going to have it bed lined. I will add pictures when it is all done.

Darn nice work! I love to see riders build what they need.
Only a fool would attempt it, and God help me, I am that fool!

Nice! Care to share your specs? I've been planning to build my own as well.
