So I want to put an oil cooler on my bike..., meaning I would have to custom-make a bracket and weld it to the frame, sounds simple enough. But I ride mine offroad alot. Im worried that the rough terrain will eventually cause the weld to break, has anyone had this problem, what are your suggestions on a bracket that can take a beating?

Using the rubber padded washers/metal washers should hold it firm.

I mounted a stainless plate to the two front engine bolts, then mounted a tranny cooler to it.

Pics are in the Japanese cooler thread.

If you get one of the new lizard coolers he'll supply you with all the stuff you need. He has a California model and soon a 49 state edition.

Somebody give Rich a plus one! I tried to and hit the wrong button. Give him a plus one and get rid of my mistake please.

I apologize Rich, I didn't mean to do that.

Where did you get that radiator? What is it out of? And I though lizard just had the cap for the engine, does he send everything else?
