I installed a Maxxis Bighorn ATV 26X9X14 tire on my TW200, it's quite a bit bigger than stock. I had to extend the swingarm a inch or two to make it fit. It works good.

Admiral created a great tutorial describing how to post images. You can find it here.

What's the minimum or optimal amount the swingarm should be extended to make the fit perfect?

Mine is a 1 inch extension. You have to extend the brake rod and chain too, of course. You just cut the swing arm on both sides, find a piece of metal to slide snugly into the swing arm channel, and weld it in. It looks like other guys have installed Maxxis tires on their bikes too. I was wondering if they extended their swing arms also.

Is It nessasary to extend the swingarm to run a maxxis bighorn 2.0 ? I know its close but will the wheel spin ? I'm not worried about the chain guard
