We just bought one from boats.net about three weeks ago. Cheapest I could locate. Fast service.
I'm about to purchase a new carburetor from yamaha but I'm wondering if anyone here has bought one before and if it was just about ready to go out of the box. Any insight on which online yamaha parts dealer has good pricing and quick shipping would be great! Thanks!
Sorry, I didn't read carefully. Yes, it came fully assembled. Here is a link for your model 1995 TRAILWAY - TW200GC Yamaha Motorcycle CARBURETOR (CALIFORNIA ONLY) Diagram and Parts
yea their website isn't the best...all the carbs over the years until 01+ are the old style so he can get one from 00 and older...they are $261.06 with free shipping on ron ayers
I've been buying all my parts from Partzilla.com (crappy name awesome prices) and Boats.net. They are actually the same company but the prices can vary slightly so check both sites and take advantage of any pricing mistakes they may make.
The carbs come 100% complete and ready to run but it doesn't hurt to double check the float level (which has always been perfect on the carbs I've bought)
I do upgrade the main jet, pilot jet and add needle shims before I install them
As crazy as it seems you can often sell your old carb for a good chunk of what you'll pay for the new carb

I have not had good luck with Partzilla. Shipping took forever. I did finally get everything but some of it took 6 weeks. Also, no phone customer service, that I could find. Return emails arrived AFTER the parts.
I have also used boats.net. love their
diagrams, hard not to order the correct part. Being on the east coast only takes about three days to get parts onced thier shipped which takes them about two days to
prepare order. Good prices.
