    Well finally got around to pulling the factory...

    Well finally got around to pulling the factory plug and making the adjustment. Wow, what a difference. bike now warms up very quickly and pulls away with no choke or hesitation in no time.

    Pilot screw adjustment, first gen carb

    Hi all. Long time lurker first post.

    I have read that the pilot screw should be at 2-1/2 turns out. Is this the same on both styles of carburetors. I have a 99 with the slide style carb.
