hello fellow t-dubbers,i purchased a new sprocket for my bike and it has an indentation on one side and the other side is flat.Does anybody know which side should face out??
I think you can re-use those retainers several times before replacing them. I use a cold chisel ( big wide screwdriver would work) to help fold retainer ears back up neatly against sprocket bolt heads.
My retainers gave up the ghost about 5 years ago.
Rather than replace them (expensive)...I went with lock-washers AND Nylock nuts...a double layer of protection!
