    Question mph needle indicator shakes

    Hey anyone have this issue where the mph needle shakes a bit getting up to speed?

    Yeah, the cable probably needs to be lubricated. Look here for info about how to do it.
    My handle is B-dub, I ride a T-dub, and drive a V-dub.

    Thanks maybe I'll wd40 it. The bike is a 2014 though would it really need lube so early?

    If the end of the cable gets bent a little where it goes into the speedo or at the engine, it will make the needle wobble a little.

    Should I bring it back to the dealership since it's under warranty? Or try to fix or just deal with it? It's not horrible but noticeable at times. .

    I'd try the dealer first.

    +1! NO WD-40! Use proper cable lube or silicone...

    I do see it looks like there is a kink in the cable. Is it fixable with lube?
