Looking for a set of rear turn signals (non LED)for a 2001 TW. Looking for something shorter than the stock lights. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks and I wish everyone a happy new year...

You have countless choices, but I like the Baja Designs stuff if you are sticking with stalk mount signals.

Here's the Baja Designs rear turn signal.

If you also have a CycleRack, you can lay your TW on its side without breaking the turn signals.

Edit: I just checked the Baja Designs website, and at $33.00 a pair, I would think Hodaka Guy's modification of the stock turn signals seems to be the best bet.

Thanks very much for the replies. Hodaka Guy's mod looks perfect.

Be carful with aftermarket turn signals. Many lack luminosity to meet the required visibility. Most states require the signals be bright enough to be seen from 500 feet away in daylight. Many tiny aftermarket units and LED conversions are not bright enough to be legal.

That's a good point... To my surprise, the one's I posted above from Cycle Gear are quite a bit brighter than the stock one's.

Note that USDOT and most state DOTs require reflectors. Aftermarket turn signals sometomes don't reproduce the reflective properties of the stock lamps.
