Misfire at High RPM 1st Gear

Hey guys, recently I've noticed that when accelerating hard in 1st or putting the motor under load such as applying the back brake and accelerating the engine "misses". More of like a clunk. At first I though it could be a bound link in the chain but it only does it in first and when under a hard load so I've temporarily ruled that out.

    any thoughts…

Loose motor mounts or chain too loose?

Plug looks good at the tip. Those white threads may indicate a little lean.

Kind of depends on what were you doing just before you pulled the plug.

    Stock jetting? Any mods?

The yellow color is indicative of lead fouling. The ashy white residue means you are running too lean "hot".

Thanks for the spark plug help guys.

I finally had a chance to really test it this morning and replace the spark plug. Turned out to be a loose chain and a link that was binding. Took me riding without my helmet in the neighborhood to really hear what was going on.
