I seem to have a gas leak from somewhere on the carburetor. I've changed the fuel hose from the tank but that didn't fix it. The leak also seems to be above the float bowl gasket.

    Any ideas?

Check the ends of the float bowl screws. When the float bowl gaskets start to lose their seal gas sometimes travels up the screws.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

Powdercoated '87 frame, extended swingarm, YZ fork legs, ATV tire, 14/55, XT350 tank, spliced quick-release seat, disc brake conversion, beeg headlight, beeger rack, Lizrdcooler, Lizrdventz and bunch of other stuff all covered in invisible ink.
