    Need handlebar help.

Does anyone have a suggestion for replacement bars. Would like to have something higher and possibly a little wider, but with out replacing cables or wiring. Brand or part # ?.
    Thanks Big T.

I just installed tag 1 1/8 bars with pro taper risers, about 1-2 inches higher, wider than stock, feels great, cost about 65$,using stock cables.

I installed some surplus MSR ATV Low handlebars on my TW I bought for my V Strom. They are about 1" taller than stock, and about 1.5-2" wider than stock. They were less than $30. I also added some 2" aluminum risers I found on E-bay for $19.00. As someone who likes to stand on the pegs while riding-this works great for me and I was able to use the stock cables.20160422_185437_resized.jpg

I used the ATV High bars from here, new grips from Amazon.

    http://www.walmart.com/search/?query...r&cat_id=91083

I pulled the headlight assembly, and ran the cables behind the triple tree to get more slack, pretty easy, and I have enough slack to add a riser if I want more height.

With the ATV high bars, I can see some of the road in my mirrors now too, not just my shoulders.

Found something very cool for figuring out riding geometry. ..Motorcycle Ergonomics
Looks like I want to go 3" up and 3" forward (which is probably about the distance I moved my stocks forward) on the bars and 2" forward on the pegs....which is about what I visualized as comfortable but very cool to see what changes do to the ergonomics
