Yea, you’re right. Another oil discussing who needs it. I have a dam case I trying to get rid of. Hey, if a TW is as tuff as they say then it should be fine . I hope

What brand & type of 10/40?

Does it say energy conserving on the back of your oil bottle? If so save it for a car.

A few of the many oil threads

Its Honda motorcycle oil. That’s funny; my manual (2006) says 10/30 or 20/40......

    Thanks,

    JP

    10W-40 is fine.

Use Mobil MX4T or Racing 4T and you will be turning over 24,000 miles like I am!

Since I bought it with 1200 miles on it, it has never seen the dealer. I have done all of the maintenance on it. Mostly minor stuff: sprockets, valve adjustments, etc.

Use what the manual advises...the bike only holds A LITTLE over a quart anyway....change it often.
