TW's use TK carbs. Round slide TK's on pre-'01 bikes, constant velocity round slides on post '01's.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

Powdercoated '87 frame, extended swingarm, YZ fork legs, ATV tire, 14/55, XT350 tank, spliced quick-release seat, disc brake conversion, beeg headlight, beeger rack, Lizrdcooler, Lizrdventz and bunch of other stuff all covered in invisible ink.

Not debating with you lizrdbrth, but,my 09's carb designation is MV28...if it was a constant velocity, wouldn't it say CV28?.AGAIN folks, keep in mind I'm new here and just trying to figure out this TW thing....like it so far!.Like the color scheme of your TW....noticed that you indicated you have D2 moto pegs....been lookin to replace my OEM ones....need more room!.

MV28 is a TK (not Mikuni) constant velocity as lizrdbrth says.

Standard on all post 2001 bikes.

Correct,it is a Teikei(TK) carb......just curious that the dsignation is MV instead of CV.
