Going to remove my swingarm to deal with some rust issues and replace the plastic chain guard.

What issues will I have with the shock extending and being very difficult to reinsert?

Is the shock under a lot of compression at rest with the tire removed.

Do not want to undo the bolt and have it fly apart.

Shock is not under any compression with wheel removed (and bike off of ground). No worries of flying shock.
