I'm happy to share this discount link with you guys..

    http://www.bikevis.com/motorcycle-cr...-discount.html

and I bought a set of Blue tint LED..

initially I was going to put them on my bike,, but since my wife is commuting now - I'd love her to be more visible

    so decided to donate!

actually I'm planning to stick them on this week end,,

any pointers on which wire to parallel them into so they turn on with the ignition?

    thanks!

    getting into this DIY mode!

the current drawn on those LED Light is minute...

ripped those wires out of the bottom of the speedo's bulb holder.....

have tastefully cable=tied the LED running lights to the mirror stalks....

its lights up like a smurfs christmas now!

actually I put a blue set on first and then my wife got pulled by the cops- they were nice about it - blue lights really help you stand out on the road.

sorry its not a great picture for showing the lights...

but here goes - better late than never!

EDIT one more - this ones a bit closer

these LED strips are really really cheap! about US$3 per foot!

super easy to apply - peel back off them and they sticks on! I put some cable ties around them - not pretty but shes been dropped a few times - s

    but WAY more visibility..

I did the rear as well! have to go and take a photo!!!

here's a small jpeg of the rear

the tail light kept burning out so I thought LED might last longer... and anyway the tail light was too small and low down..

now have 2 strips on the givi rack..
