I want to purchase an O ring chain and 47 tooth sprocket. Would someone please tell me where they bought theirs? and maybe the part numbers.

I was quoted $120 for both from a motorcycle store. Is that about right?

    Thanks, Tom

I am planning on doing the same thing including a 14 tooth front sprocket. Seems like someone on here got all three items online for $100?

Looking through all the online shops & calculating cost + shipping, etc. I just said ta hell with it & bought everything through my dealer. My local shop doesn't add a whole lot on top of the wholesale price they can get stuff for. And I picked up all the little parts I needed all at once & got the job done without having to stop & go buy more bits & pieces.

The price difference wasn't even 10%

The final cost with 2 sprockets, chain, side cover gasket, locknut plates, oil, etc. was about $180.

The price sounds about right with an O ring chain. I paid about 85 for my 15 front and 44 rear. I am going to a 15 front and 47 rear this winter. Try Google for the Hitching post in south ST Paul MN for the phone number
