Hey guys, I have been having a problem with my back brakes. When it rains they will lock up the first couple of stops. if I ride them for a little ways (like half a block) then they dont lock up. I checked them a while back, and they still looked good. The problem started after I overheated them last summer. Any advise? Thanks

Tdub has done this since passing 52 Harleys on one traverse of Tail of the Dragon. Maybe a little sandpaper will restore the suface of the friction material, or knock the glaze off the drum?

yep, sandpaper/deglaze shoes and drum. If the shoes are cheap enough I would just replace them since you have taken the trouble to take everything apart.
