    Does anyone know what size jets come stock on the 2012 and 2013 models? Are they replaced by removing the bottom bowl? What jets are recommended for 8,000 to 12,000 ft elevation?

    I live in Colorado at 7500 ft. I bought a 2012 TW 200 this spring, and the factory jet was replaced with a 118. Riding around here is mostly around 7500-12000 ft. There are several threads on jetting and carb maintenance on this forum.

    I have a 2001 TW. The previous owner rejetted to 130 which was perfect for 3500-4000 feet but too rich for 6000-7000 where I am doing most of my riding right now. I went back to the stock jet. The stock jet seems pretty good. With the bigger jet I had some rich surges/misses at full throttle. The smaller jet eliminated that.



    I will put the bigger jet in when I take the bike off the mountain.

    Did you try running with the factory jets first, or just change them out to the 118? Co is where I want to do some riding.

    The Alamosa Yamaha Dealership Installs the 118 jet before they sell the TW bikes, so I only have experience with this jet at this altitude. However, I am having the 600 mile maintenance done next week, and they are going to put the factory jet, 125 I think, back in. The 118 works fine for me around here - 7600-11000 ft, but I will be taking the TW to Baja this fall, so the factory jet is going back in it. I will get to ride it here with the factory jet for a couple of months, so I will then have a basis for comparison.
