    Rear hub question?

    Hello all,

New to the forum and new to the TW. I'm working on a front disk fat tire conversion for my tw and before I started cutting up good parts I had a question about the rear hub.

If I cut/grind the weld on the drum brake side, will the shaft slide inside the lacing part of the hub? Thought that might be easier than cutting from the sprocket side. Thanks all.

P.S. If anyone has an old junker rear hub they want to sell let me know.

Yes, if you cut/grind to remove the weld on the drum brake mounting flange, you will be able to slide the flange off the hub shaft. See pictures below from trailer wheel mod thread: https://tw200forum.com/forum/performa...-tw200-11.html
