    oil filter cover leak

Been having slight oil leaks from the bottom of the oil filter cover? last oil change,I replaced the gaskets, leak returned? bike only has a couple hundred miles on it.... There does not appear to be any scratches to the cover or the case where they make contact?. All bolts are properly torqued and the gaskets are proprely set?? Any ideas fellow riders.

    Welcome to the forum!

There is an o-ring on the bottom bolt on the oil filter cover (see item 14 below). If that were missing, it could cause a leak.

Or if it was nicked or split...I'd inspect real close or just replace both it & the larger O-ring. Check the metal sealing surfaces, too.
