Can anyone tell me what this tube is and should it have anything in it?

Sump for any oil, water, gas that gets inside airbox. My older TW's tube may be squeezed to open and drain.

Ok, mine has a little fluid in it. Is that normal?

    Most likely, it's perfectly normal.

Pull it off, clean it out, replace it, and keep an eye on it for any excessive accumulation of fluid.

Parts manual even calls it a "drain pipe". I'm trying to think if I've ever checked this tube on any of my TW's. Now I'm gonna have to check them out. Thanks.

Mine takes about a year to fill up. I usually have a look at it whenever I'm cleaning the chain. It's usually pretty gooey and takes a Q-tip to remove the goo.
