Perhaps the plunger is still inside the carb?

It could be,you should easily see it because the housing isn't deep.If it's missing you could try a Yamaha dealer or a small independent parts place, either should be able to order the part.

Hey guys. Sorry, my fault. This is a picture taken from the internet. Plunger is cracked in 2 pieces, so i am searching for a new one. Nothing to find on the internet. I hope my Yamaha dealer can help me out.

They should be able to,the worst thing is you may have to buy the whole cable.
Did you know Yamaha no longer make the throttle cable for your bike? Fortunately a company called Slinky Glide do.Their agent in the UK is www.wemoto.com I got a replacement from there.

Yes. I noticed when i was searching on the internet that the cable is no longer available. I don't like shopping in a official Yamaha shop. The parts here in Belgium are £££ high! So i prefer searching and ordering on the internet for a fair price.

They're expensive here too.Slinky Glide might have an agent closer to you,if not I'm sure Wemoto will send you what you need.

Sent an email to Wemoto. Didn't find anything on their web. To be continued. Will visit my local Yamaha dealer this week. But ... i could just order a cheap Chinese carb. When i read around here, looks like a few TW owners have a cheap Chinese carb with no issues ... so ...

Wemoto should be able to help you.Remember that the bikes on here are 200cc,if you fit an after market carb it will need jetting.I fitted a Mikuni VM 24 512 to mine and the pilot jet is still too big, they only go down to 10.
