Ive got the FMF slip on, and i seem to be having an exhaust leak/ ticking noise coming from the area where it meets the header. Ive replaced the exhaust engine gasket, but when i pull these two apart its just metal on metal contact. I was wondering if anybody has found a fix for this to seal up the gap.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

Powdercoated '87 frame, extended swingarm, YZ fork legs, ATV tire, 14/55, XT350 tank, spliced quick-release seat, disc brake conversion, beeg headlight, beeger rack, Lizrdcooler, Lizrdventz and bunch of other stuff all covered in invisible ink.

Cut a beer can open and cut a 1 1/2" wide strip to wrap around the pipe and slip the muffler back on. It's a thin gasket that will stay put.
