Ride some more. Your TW is not broken in yet.

    Try different gas.

I've been removing alcohol from my gas and my TW runs much better!

Ultimately you may need to install a larger jet in the carb to get the neck snapping acceleration that the TW is known for.

A little more info might be helpful. Has it always seemed like this? Could it be that you are just getting used to it after 600 miles? Was it stored over the winter and might have old gas? Serviced lately? Have you tried adjusting the air/fuel mixture screw?

Try to do one mod at a time with a ride in between. That way if something goes to hell you will know what did it instead of guessing.

    A good order would be

Sprockets, pipe, rejet and shim the needle
