I'm installing a 12V power outlet on my bike, and was wondering what amp fuse I should use? This will be for powering my GPS, and possibly charging a cell phone!

Typically in a car the cigarette lighter plug is fused at 5 or 10 amps, but you'll be good with 0.5 amp since you're only powering electronic goodies. Maybe you'd have to bump up if you ever wanted to plug in an electric vest or something, but for the time being I'd use half an amp just to be safe.

I just put 10s in all mine. It should charge/run anything you put on it that the battery can handle. It mainly protects stuff from a short or something like that.
