Hi guys, Iv got a 2002 tw 125, and on the silencer there is a small hole at the lowest point on the silencer. I don't know whether it is a drain hole for the bike, or someone has simply drilled a hole in the exhaust. I'm just confused because there is definitely exhaust gasses coming from this hole, and surely if it is a drain hole there isn't supposed to be the majority of the exhaust gasses coming out of it. Also, when I cover the hole, the exhaust gets a lot quieter and the throttle response is better. Any idea's?

If you are not talking about the hole at the end of the silencer where you access the screw to remove the back end, then yes, someone drilled a hole, probably in a misguided attempt to drain condensate. Just put a plug of JB-Weld in it.
