    AMR coil installation

I recently bought the eBay AMR racing coil and have found a bug in the design..
the ground plug that normaly is pinched between the coil and frame is blokked by a peace of plastic that sticks out of the coil
body where the spark plug wire is coming out of the plastic.
Is this plastic removable or should i just turn around the coil somehow..
the TW manual obviously doesn't say anything about it.. so I'm quite nervous of the consequenses of installing the coil in a different mannor than the old
    coil was installed.
    any help?

    thanks.

I can't recall offhand how I wired it, but don't think there was any problem.

Right now my TW is in a different state or i would go look. Maybe this photo will help.

Yes, it's the wire from the tach I have mounted with velcro to the top of the TW's brake fluid reservoir.

It's one like this, but not labeled Yamaha. There is a bit of a lag time before the tach catches up to the actual rpm's.
