    New chain and sprockets

    Hello All,

    I am tired of having to adjust the stock chain all the time. I am just under 1,000 miles on my 2013 and I am going to do new stock sprockets and a good chain. Should I look at doing anything else or need to get something else for the bike? I already have a chain breaker.

    I just did a chain and sprockets swap on my F650 GS and found Renthal o-ring chains on sale at Am very happy with the quality/tensile strength - most especially when considering the price. The package has both a master link and a rivet link included. No need to buy an extra link, although this isn't noted on the site.

    O-ring chain is the way to go. I have and EK and its been great. I always buy (or have on-hand) a left side gasket when I change sprockets. Sometimes I use it, sometimes I don't, but its there if needed.

    goldenhtr found this great buy on o-ring chain on Ebay. I got a pretty good deal on sprockets from Lytle Racing. Procycle or Rocky Mountain ATVMC may also have good deals.
    My handle is B-dub, I ride a T-dub, and drive a V-dub.
