I lost the plate that goes on top of the tank under the seat. I want to avoid ordering and waiting on the parts.

Does anyone have a picture of what the part(s) look like. I'm going to try to make something work and need an idea of what I'm working toward.

    Thanks

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

Powdercoated '87 frame, extended swingarm, YZ fork legs, ATV tire, 14/55, XT350 tank, spliced quick-release seat, disc brake conversion, beeg headlight, beeger rack, Lizrdcooler, Lizrdventz and bunch of other stuff all covered in invisible ink.

Actually 5 and 6 is what I've lost. Would a big rubber grommet and a washer work just as well?

The "nut" piece that the bolt goes into spins freely on my bike. Should it be welded in place like a captive nut?
