Ha ha. No it was getting dark and I was racing daylight so that pic doesn’t have the plug or even the bolt that holds the kick lever on installed yet. Besides once it was done it was time to kick it over. 20 times. Maybe more.
Forever grateful for all your help brother

Thanks Badger, as I was sitting back looking at her in the corner of the yard glistening in the moon light enjoying an ice cold adult soda I was actually thinking about how only 2 months ago she was sitting neglected, not much more than a frame, engine and wiring harness on 4x4 blocks with an incomplete pile of not all usable parts next to her. I can’t even remember how many times I was told she should be junked. I’m not trying to brag but I am quite pleased with how she sits now and what she will be when I’m done. Hard work and dedication always pay off and always feel good.

just ordered, wahoo! Anything to putting it together that I can't get from the parts fiche? I saw this post awhile ago and misplaced it, so as soon as I saw it again I placed the order so I wouldn't forget. Any good install walkthroughs you've seen?

    Thanks!

Its pretty straight forward but feel free to PM me if you run into any issues. I have pics of every single part and where it goes. Need to find time to get them all uploaded and write out new install instructions with pics.

Step 4: Wait till I have time to install mine and take lots of pics to put together a new install instructions post with pics that work.

Step 5: (Optional but recommend) Buy me a beer next time you see me with all that money you saved.

I used the parts numbers to order locally. $321 CAD and change tax inc.

The parts guy was like "WHERE did you get all these parts numbers?" I was tempted to tell him I hacked Yamaha's database but I told him the truth. lol He was equally impressed.

    Good work maddawgj. Thanks

Edit..I missed a few parts on the list when I placed my order and they came to an additional ~$150.
