    I have no idea, but I kinda doubt it.

    This is a picture of an '87 parts bike that I pulled the kicker off of for Joemama. I was trying to send this pic to another forum member via PM but I can't seem to attach photos directly to a PM. My workaround was to post it here on the forum first and then I could copy and paste it into the PM. Probably not the most elegant solution, but hey, it worked!

    yamaha likes to use plastic gears on their oil pumps my grizz ,and raptor both have them.

    I took apart a Briggs lawnmower engine that was pretty much shot, it had plastic gears and they were in great shape. Hell, I shoot a couple of plastic guns, so why not?

    only plastic gears that didn't fare well were the old timing gears on ford v8's ,replaced a lot of them over the years,usually stripped on a cold start in the morning,bummer .
