    Avatar picture

I noticed some people's avatar pic is bigger than others...is this something that can be adjusted on the forum or does it have to do with the origin of the pic?

It's been a long time ago, but I remember having to resize my picture to get it to fit. It started off too large, so I gradually reduced until it was accepted.

Did you reduce picture size here on the forum or on your computer?

Here is what it says under Settings, Edit Avatar: Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 100 by 100 pixels or 58.6 KB (whichever is smaller).

Well I've tried dozens of different combos and I can't get a full size avatar pic (I've actually been toying with this off and on ever since the new forum format started)

I even saved and uploaded avatars that appear full size on other profiles (like TW-Brian's for example) and they appear half size on my profile

Good thing I enjoy long term projects lol

I had that problem also and I forget what I did to resolve it. Like many things with the puter, I may not have even known why it finally went full size. Have fun.

Edit: Hmm. I see I still have that problem.

I just copied and saved TW-Brian's avatar. My computer says it's 200x150. So our's is full size, his is double (on one side).

So the question becomes how to make the avatar larger than the rules say you can.
