Budget Panniers Test - Fun Trip to Target

As promised, here are a few pics from today's Budget Pannier Test Run Adventure. The panniers rocked - perfect function.

    Pannier info: https://tw200forum.com/forum/performa...-panniers.html

Took back roads into Waconia, MN and found a few cool places on the way.

    First I paid some respects:

Then I found this neat old barn:

Then I found this nice Shermann!

    Made it to Target!

    Panniers work great!

Crappies are biting good. Docks going out at the marina. Lots of boats out today!

My favorite boat launch, dock not in yet:

Neat old barn. I just missed a pic of the TW and a full strutting peacock.

    Then back home.

    Good Luck!

    Coolness...great looking/equipped bike.
I was wondering what came from Kmart!
    What fuel cell is that?
    And...nice ride & pix!

Thanks! It is a beautiful day here in MN - perfect morning for a TW ride.

Nice set-up! Did you get some sort of spacer between the rack and the rear fender to help distribute the load? Wasn't that you who posted something about that a while back?

Nope, not me. But now that you mention it, I'm going to make a spacer, sounds like a great idea!

If you find the post with the rack / rear fender spacer, please paste the link in this tread - Thanks!

    It's here: https://tw200forum.com/forum/general-...ailable-6.html Post # 53

So it was "Old with too many guns, etc." Pretty close guess eh? That's what I'm going to do if I ever get around to mounting my panniers and going on a camping trip on the TW!

That is a slick bike. Love the paint job...and wish I'd had this link before I sold mine.

Might have kept it, with some work in it like that.

Thanks. I've really enjoyed my TW so far, what a fun little bike to modify and abuse!
