Well I bought an inexpensive video camera and mounted it to the bike. My first test ride with this camera was down the Yakima River along Canyon Road.

This is a time lapse video and if you don't like the music just turn it off.

Nice video! As soon as I started watching it, I began hearing a mysterious sound in my head. I quickly realized that it was my Kawasaki Ninja calling out to me, begging me to find this road and traverse it with utter disregard for posted speed limits!
    KJ, just KJ, ok.

Made me want to bolt a pair of handlebars to the base of my monitor and ride along. The pass at about 2:26 looked a little close. Real nice and good choice of music.

Wow! Beautiful country and a road that just begs for something a lot more agile/faster than a TW200.

What kind of camera are you using? I actually like the choppiness of it. As for the music, I remember when that song was new! I liked it then and I like it now. It fit well.

Long live the internal combustion engine!

I love it! Fill us in on the camera you used. Where did you mount it? I like the choppiness too.
If you can't find it, grind it

The camera is a cheapo JVC Everio Full HD though this video is not in HD.

The film was shot in time lapse (1 frame per second-that's why it's choppy). Then with software I sped it up 25% and did a few other software things (ie stabilization-which does not work well in time lapse but helps. I try to select music that matches the films choppiness/tempo and try to edit to song length. I'm still experimenting with mounting points, software, etc. But it gives me something to do while going through cancer treatments.

The mount is a standard Ram Handlebar mount and with the right length I can get it out into the windflow. Here is how I mounted it on the BMW-I don't have a picture of the TW Mount but its essentially the same.

For off-road I use a Helmet mounted camera but it lacks the features of the JVC-its small and real basic.

    I like it! Nice job.
Hidden Content A ride in the woods helps me relax and release tension. The fact I'm dragging a body should be entirely irrelevant?
