    Rhodetrips Adventure Continues

We stored the Rhodetrips motorcycles for a couple months after one of them broke down with mechanical issues up near Stanley, Idaho. They returned a couple days ago to continue their adventure. Here they are getting packed yesterday morning.

I cleaned up the shop a little before they came back so it didn't look so bad. I hoped they hadn't remembered how messy it was when they dropped off their TW's few months back!
    I even swept the floor!

Before they left we awarded them the Traveling Lizrd Award

They let me escort them from the Jackass Gulch Drydock.

Short time later we crossed safely into Oregon Territory

Who said Harley riders don't wave. Must have been 15-20 and everyone of them waved to me!

They topped off their fuel in Vale. From here there next destination was Burns, in the Oregon Territory. I turned back and headed back home.

We said, "until we meet again" and not goodbye!

It was so nice to be able to meet them again though I'm sure they would have rather forgone the mechanical issues which forced them to abort part of their ride through Idaho in July. Moab 2016 was the first time we met them.

    Safe Travels Rhodetrips!

Hidden Content A ride in the woods helps me relax and release tension. The fact I'm dragging a body should be entirely irrelevant?

Its really rare that you meet people as friendly as Kris and Lori. They took us in and stored our bikes and gear, Kris took one bike to the freight forwarder, and then picked up the other when it came in. Picked us up at the airport, put us up in their lovely home, fed us, and gave us a trophy to boot! I'm really proud to call them friends!

And that is saying something! TW riders are the nicest group of people I have known (even if it has only been through forums) and these fine folks being the nicest of the group, call the pope, we gotta get something going here.
