While on his trek around Florida Longroof called to say he was coming by my work. A short while later he rode in on his T.W. Grand Adventure LTD. This has to be the most farkled Dub I've ever seen! Vetter saddlebags, windshield, oil cooler, extra lights, big tank. The works times two. I could have spent several hours just looking it over for ideas. Anyhow after some general catching up and lots of B.S. He mounted up and headed north. Later that evening he called to tell me to tell me he had found a place to camp by a swamp. I told him to be carefull a Gator did not try and become his tent mate. I check a few days later to see if he got home in one piece. No problems he replyed I even got through the demo derby thats Atlanta. That said I hope to ride with him the next time I'm in the area. May be with a few new farkles on my Dub!

    Prolly having too much fun.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

Powdercoated '87 frame, extended swingarm, YZ fork legs, ATV tire, 14/55, XT350 tank, spliced quick-release seat, disc brake conversion, beeg headlight, beeger rack, Lizrdcooler, Lizrdventz and bunch of other stuff all covered in invisible ink.

    Hi X,

Glad you got to see Gordon. He called to chat and tell me he was stopping by.

When he realized it was going to be New Year's Eve when he arrived here, he called

again to say he needed to continue on without stopping. Somehow he had lost track

    of the days.

I think I will be here in FL at that time, March 27 - April 1. Send me a PM to remind me, and maybe we can meet up

Hey guys! Had to come back to work before they really find out that they can do without me. Been playing catch-up at the office ever since. Did enjoy Florida though. Didn't want to leave. Final tally was just shy of 800 miles and I'm still not sure where all the days went to.

Been planning this year's rides and this is what I have so far.

    May...the tw200 event of the decade, https://tw200forum.com/index.php?/top...turtlepalooza/

June...Barber Motorsports Park with some of my riding buddies from up north; http://barbermotorsports.com/indy/index.php?adnet= then return via the Natchez Trace http://www.nps.gov/natr/index.htm plus some side trips like over to Vicksburg, Mississippi for some War of Northern Agression tours http://www.nps.gov/vick/index.htm

September...Ride the TW200 up to Ontario, Canada for the Horizons Unlimited event http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/meetings/ Yes there is one held in Stecoah, North Carolina, but that is only 120 mile away. Really I told Grant Johnson two years ago that if one of these events was held in eastern Canada I woud come. Well...I'm a man of my word.

Would also like to get a multi-day bicycle tour in there somewhere.

Head to Washington, DC sometime in the wife's new Town and County van. February or March maybe?

xracer and jbfla thanks for all your support. JB see you at Townsend and X hope to get with you and R when you're up at Athens.

A gi lv di - Ni ga na ye gv na - Tsu na li i Ride safe my friends
