I just did that trip from Washington, 16 days and 4994 miles later I was home. But I drove a car, as I had my daughters with me Then towards your neck of the woods to the Upper P of Michigan and back home. The black hills have some absolutely beautiful country to see. I hadn't been there in over 30 years. I was a little disapointed to see all of the development but I guess that's just progress. Either way it's neat country. Thanks for the photos.

Awesome pictures! Thanks for sharing them, and thanks Bullspit for helping out. I especially like those shots of the Devil's Tower. That's a pretty impressive looking natural formation. Nice shot of the moonrise, too.
    My handle is B-dub, I ride a T-dub, and drive a V-dub.

It's way cool. I've always wanted to see it in person since the movie... The moonrise shot took us 45mins. to wait for the sun to set just right and the moon to rise just above the peak.. She was in the prone position behind her bike when a park ranger came by..... He stopped next to her to make sure she hadn't had a accident. We got up early and rode to the east side to watch the sunrise, but it didn't look as neat. So we went hiking in the cool of the morning.. OMM.
