Rode 104 miles from the house to meet up with N202 who had been camping. When I got there, bama had ridden down to say hi. We talked a bit then Bama left for other commitments and N202 and I went out exploring. Majority of the riding was packed clay forest roads with some sugar sand thrown in for butt pucker excitement.

After crossing some water, I was the first casualty. Tipped over after crossing the bars up in a rut. A little mud, laughing and we were soon back on the trail.

Saw some neat ponds and stuff. My ass hurts, and I'm typing this on the iPhone so I'm going to make this short.

    We had tons of fun.

    Pics to prove it happened.

It was a great day. The weather was perfect. Hope next time Bama can join us. We really all need to meet up for a Talladega NF ride. Maybe BuddMC (if it isn't sold), Fort Payne, TWisty and TWiumph could meet us.

Would love to see more pics...... I wished we had places like that to ride over this way in Alabama. Have a place over in MS that we can ride trails, and thinking of going over that way.....Went to Minooka once and that was awesome, as was the ridge , north of birmingham. I was on an atv both times, so a bike will make a different impact....

We stopped a bunch, but I was having too much fun to take any more.

When we got back to N2's campsite, there was an old fella in a big Dodge truck pulling a camper and on the back of the camper, he had a 09 TDub... With only 599 miles on it.. It looked brand new !

Water crossings are always nicer if; a-the outside air temperature is nice, b-the water temperature is nice, c-or both! Thanks for sharing.
Hidden Content A ride in the woods helps me relax and release tension. The fact I'm dragging a body should be entirely irrelevant?
