Come on Summer. Warm weather, smell of sage and elk burger too!!! That would be great Eatelk.
These single track will be fun! Hey Fred, good to see you getting out. Liked your pics from Alabama hills! Thanks for loading those up. I don't have the patience/technical acumen for that.
Don't have the cajones to ride out in the cold and snow like a lot of you crazies But been creating my own heat on the e mountain bike. Lot of fun and feels like good practice for the tw.
Have another reason to go home now between Moab and Challis. My son is getting married in June!. I'll pick up the chain saw and bring with. Can probably pack it in my big top bag. See if I can cram it in next to my overnight gear always carry for when I get ditched, err, head out on my own

Here is a sample of one of the Bill Dart maps. Just spent 10 minutes trying to load, and sideways, argh. But good trail maps

Just a bump so we don't forget to plan accordingly.

Nice that folks will have maps. I like some of the place names on Allan's.
Know this is a family forum but can I get away with saying I'll meet you at Fanny's Hole?

Fred, you know you can get away with saying anything here
Yeah, we don't have the Admirals fancy videos, Or Freds pithy commentary for this ride. But its gonna happen!
Finally after months of delay, got my plan in motion. Made it down to where the heat is, Arizona. And gonna make my way north only as it warms up. Be good to get back on and get some rides in. Gonna need the practice for Moab and summer of riding

Linda and I will be in Idaho, so we are a go for this ride. Well, I will be riding, not sure what Linda will be doing.
Hopefully we will be camped by a lake.

Good deal! With Linda along, hopefully I can entice ms Allenby to join us. They can play with their cameras.
Still enjoying the sun (wind and snakes not so much) in Arizona. Riding the ebike more, just cause with my set up, its quicker and easier to hop on and ride.

Guys, I've wanted to see some of this area forever. So I hope to join you by the 20th. Is there some way to coordinate with the group; phone numbers or something? Allan, I guess we both live in WA state, you NW, me SE.

My Alaska Adventure is set. Flying out on the 25th of July for 2 weeks of fun. Trying to figure out how to join you guys in Challis. Might be tough but don't count me out quite yet!

Sure, we'll figure out a location ahead of time and post it here Smitty. Yes I am up by Burlington/Mt Vernon. East of the mountains every chance I get! Look forward to more riding down your way.
Be great to get up to Alaska eat elk! Be good to get together.
