I snuck out yesterday for a half-day of mountain riding. I had always wanted to check out this old road and finally did it yesterday. I was solo so I stayed on the main road and didn't try any of the mine off-shoots that seemed to drop off into the abyss. It was quite a bit colder than I expected and made me wish for a jacket before it was over. I will try and post some photos but I haven't yet on this forum so we'll see if I can. Only found one rattlesnake yesterday. Maybe tomorrow I will find more!

Hidden Content A ride in the woods helps me relax and release tension. The fact I'm dragging a body should be entirely irrelevant?

Denn, it looks like a great place to ride. Would you post the location. I would like to check it out next winter when I head down south.

I Just looked at the AZBDR route and the creek crossing is on it but somewhere else it diverts and goes through a different route than I took. I have hunting and guided in the area for years but haven't ridden directly up Cherry Creek Canyon, always taking other roads in the past.
