    My 2019 "Moab" Trip

Just got back from a great 2 week trip to the Canyonlands region of Utah. My friend and I packed up our TW's in my Chevy van and headed out to Moab a couple of weeks ago. Moab was way too crowded for me! I can't believe how much of a tourist destination Moab has become since I "discovered" it 30 years ago. So, we headed a little south to the Needles Region of Canyonlands and camped in the Needles Outpost Campground as our base of operations. So many trails out there. We went for an overnight cruise on the TW's to Mexican Hat and camped in the Valley of the Gods. Beautiful Place.

By the way, a 12 pack of your favorite beverage and ice fit very nicely in one of those Nelson Sierra Saddlebags.

One 12 pack in each bag might do the trick for Hoot...

Needles District sure has a different feel from the Moab experiences many of us had so any stories and pictures would be appreciated. Same for Valley of the Gods.

I'm starting to get some of my trip photos organized. Here's Indian Creek where it is crossed by the Lockhart Basin Trail:
