    Riding the Peaks

I spent Friday riding north of the San Francisco peaks. No really tough roads this trip until about 630 PM I was on a Utility road (AT&T) and it went up on a side hill. I had the sun directly in my eyes. I had to barely touch the throttle or the rear tire would slide out down hill. I was trying to do this will one had shading my face and one hand feathering the throttle. I finally had to just turn the nose downhill and ride out through the trees the last 1/4 mile. My guys were in a knot!

I'll try to post a few photos from my phone. Weather was awesome- low 70s. Beats the heck out of 109 in Phx.

    One more

The mid point of the side hill, pure cinders. Just no traction!

Beautiful country. That looks like a great place to ride.
