We had a 4 or 5 TW200's in the group last year... hope to have that many or more this year.

Here's the current ADVrider thread for this event. Full of entertaining media.

Woo Hoo! I'm hoping to join you on this one! I'm gonna drive down to NorCal the previous weekend to join those guys on a fun ride. So long as myself and the Tdub are still in one piece.... I will join you

I no longer have a t-dub, but I'm in. My son, who now has the t-dub will be joining me as well. What time does it start?

I would imagine parking will be an issue, and I'm not too keen on riding my Tdub up Interstate-5... what did you guys do last year to convoy up there and where did you park/meet up?

Last year we met at my house in Salem and road Hwy99 all the way up, picking up riders along the way... It was great. If we do that again, I can PM my address to anyone interested. Also, I will PM my cell #. AND We'll probably have 2-way radio's, Channel 4 or 10.

But, this year's meeting location is more N. Portland. So, we are thinking of trailering the bikes up to Wilsonville / Tualatin area and staging at one of the large parking lots off of I-5. If the weather is great, we may still ride, but I-5 on a T-dub sucks. Last year we rode about 15 miles of I-5 on the way home. I was tucked, throttle pegged wide open, and couldn't get over 65mph... plus I had a patched rear tube from piercing it with part of a chain link fence.

I will update this as time progresses and we establish a more solid plan.

Here is a great article that really explains the Alley Sweeper! Has me really excited for this year! I was sad that TW 200's weren't mentioned in the "rare bikes", oh well maybe next year!
