Found a tight spot alley sweeping today!

Alleys are public rights of way, and most of them are big enough to comfortably accommodate heavy trucks. This one had a tight spot in the middle that I wasn't really expecting.

Bravo! Nothing stops a TW. Practice every chance you get getting through tight places.
Long live the internal combustion engine!

Alley sweeping! Never heard the term but if I still lived in the Bay Area I'd be doing a lot of it.
Ya gotta finish the loop, it's your only way out!

Better start carrying a chainsaw for your urban alley sweeper rides
Hidden Content A ride in the woods helps me relax and release tension. The fact I'm dragging a body should be entirely irrelevant?

Way to scope things out DonBenito!

So, when is the organized sweep going to be? We all have to start making our travel plans. (Just don't make it the same week as Portland's).

Or a Sven Saw! Although in the desert you probably don't encounter many downed trees....

Thanks to all for the kind words!

I haven't been riding many alleys over the summer, not so much fun creeping around down in the valley on 100+ degree days, but it's getting to be the time of year where it's fun again.

I have heard some interest from local DS riders in the idea of an organized alley ride, and I'm finally back to a M-F workweek so finding new folks to ride with locally should be a little easier. Maybe with a few dozen more scouting trips under my belt an inaugural 2014 Tucson Alley Sweeper could be in the works?
